In June I took my first trip to San Francisco. I met my friend Jenny there and we spent 4 days touring around like tourists and eating all the good food. Today’s blog post is a picture guide to San Francisco because its such a beautiful place and there are so many great places to take photos!!!
You can’t go to San Francisco for the first time and not take some time to admire the Golden Gate Bridge. As with all my trips, they are not really vacations because I am there mainly to shoot content for my blog and social media. Its always about getting the photos! Photos showing the Golden Gate Bridge were definitely on my list for this trip.

I love the view at Battery Spencer / Vista Point. It has the be the best view of the bridge.

Take a walk on to the Golden Gate Bridge for another great bridge capture. Be prepared…it is really windy! 🙂
A super special shout-out to Jenny Megenney for these photos! I always adore her photos! 🙂

Another great bridge photo opportunity is from Baker Beach ( aka the nude beach ).
The cable cars in San Francisco were also high on my list of photos to get on this first trip there. I was glad to find that they actually stop for quite a while giving you lots of opportunities to get photos.
Whenever I travel I am always on the lookout for fun spots for photos. This laundromat was deserted and the perfect place for some quick, fun shots. Shortly after this photo I slammed my finger in the door of one of the washers and thought I broke me finger. 🙂 I had to call my mom. lol
Another location that I needed to visit on this first trip was to the Painted Ladies. Try to get here early in the day because it gets busy. Everyone has the same idea for photos here.
Actually there are colourful, cute buildings all over San Francisco. Colourful photo opportunities are everywhere.

Park and walk the streets and you will find great locations everywhere! I certainly feel in love with more than one of the cute homes.
Check out Mr. Holmes Bakehouse!!! There cookies are to die for… but let’s get real…everything there was just amazing. Try and get there right before they open. It is the best time to get pictures and get your hands on warm pastries!
For a tasty smoothie bowl and coffee I highly recommend Cafe Reveille. They have cute pink tables outside which are perfect for photos and for eating your tasty breakfast.
For there best ice cream in San Francisco, check out Hometown Creamery! They have a flight of ice cream so you can try a bunch of flavours instead of just one. Not only is this tasty but it makes for cute photos, too. I really loved the mint chip and peanut butter flavours. Actually, the peach cobbler was to die for, too. 🙂
Hope you enjoyed my post! I hope to make it back to SF one day soon and I will try and add more to this guide! Have a great week. 🙂
