This strawberry banana smoothie bowl is an easy and healthy way to kick-start the day. I love smoothies but get tired of breakfast in a glass, so I decided to try something different. This is made exactly like a smoothie (you can use your favourite mix of fruit and veggies), but you put it in a bowl instead of a cup. You can then garnish it with your favourite toppings. I used fruit, but you could add nuts, granola, or even chocolate chips (I won’t judge). Give it a try! With back to school around the corner, this will be a great way to start your day.
- 1 cup frozen strawberries
- 1 banana
- 1/2 cup orange juice
- 1/4 cup milk
- fresh fruit for topping
- 1. Add four smoothie ingredients to your blender and blend until smooth. (If using fresh strawberries, add ice to blender).
- Pour into a bowl and top with desired toppings. I used fruit, but you can use chia seeds, oatmeal, granola, nuts, coconut, etc.
