My last food blog post was about turning your morning smoothie into a breakfast in a bowl (Strawberry Banana Smoothie Bowl). Today’s post is a different twist on that because I have made it into a popsicle that you can enjoy any time of the day. You can use any smoothie recipe for this, even a vegetable based smoothie. I used Zoku popsicle molds, which are fantastic if you haven’t seen them before. Let me know if you try one!
Eat better, not less!
- 1 cup frozen strawberries
- 1 banana
- 1/2 cup orange juice
- 1/4 cup milk
- fresh fruit
- 1. Add four smoothie ingredients to your blender and blend until smooth. (If using fresh strawberries, add ice to blender).
- 2. Pour into popsicle mold and add some fresh sliced fruit (if desired).
