A good day for me is getting up early, working out and jumping into work. Later in the morning I will grab Beau and we will head out to get some fresh air and exercise. The key to getting any work done with a puppy around is to tire them out lol. Some days we go for a hike or a walk along the river or just a run through the neighbourhood.
Having Type 1 diabetes, I have learned that I need to have snacks with me to help regulate my blood sugar, especially when exercise is involved. I try to pack healthy snacks and when I am out with others, I always bring enough to share. Everyone loves the person that has the snacks. 🙂
Martin’s Apple Chips are great healthy snacks. They are so crispy and very tasty…making them one of my favourites. I am a huge fan of dried fruit because it is light to carry, doesn’t melt and fills you up.
Their apple chips are made from real apples and the only ingredient is apples. How awesome is that!?! They have 4 different flavours…original, cinnamon, chocolate drizzle and caramel dream. I recently tried the cinnamon and they are so good!
Another great thing about Martin’s Apple Chips for me is that they are gluten free. I am newly gluten free and trying my hardest to cut gluten from my diet.
Beau is full of beans sometimes and other times he Is just a world class cuddler. There really is no in between with him.
Martin’s Apple Chips are grown in Canada at Martin’s Fruit Farm in Ontario. They are available at Starbucks in snack size bags as well as Costco, Sobey’s, Bulk Barn, Farm Boy, Winners and other retailers.
