Summer is coming…and I know I’m not the only one that is craving better weather. We’ve had a fairly wet winter on the west coast this year. Thankfully, I’ve been fortunate enough to mix in some exciting trips to tropical destinations while it poured at home. But nevertheless… bring on the SUN!
Call me an eager beaver, but I’ve already started to make my summer to-do list! I have visited some of my favorite summer spots. I’ve mapped out the new trails I want to hike and the paths I want to bike, I’ve even figured out which lakes I will be reading, blogging (and tanning) by come warmer weather.
Beau and I ventured out to a lake this past week, when the sun was shining and warm enough. After a successful trip to Walmart the night before, I had my sweater, blanket and my bubba® Trailblazer Stainless Steel Waterbottle in tow. So thankful for Walmart’s expansive selection making it totally possible to get everything under one roof. Beau had his frisbee (per usual). Sure, it was a bit chillier than the perfect “beach day” but we spent almost the whole day dockside, eagerly anticipating the return of summer.
Is anyone else crazy productive in the great outdoors? It’s amazing what you can get done without WIFI! Who would have thought? I managed to tackle nearly a week’s worth of blog writing for you guys! (Including this one).
What’s best is my lemon + mint water stayed cold the whole time we were out on the lake, all thanks to my bubba Trailblazer. The bottle can keep your drink cold for up to 42 hours and hot for 12 hours. Because it’s 40 oz I was able to avoid needing refills throughout the day, and could rely on my cold beverage to keep me hydrated while by the lake.
Beau, being the uncoordinated pup I know and love, knocked over the trailblazer while we were playing Frisbee, but luckily it has a leak-proof lid and durable bottle which made it even more perfect around his unpredictable movements! The vibrant color options make for a beautiful Instagram, too! Thanks, bubba! 🙂
Now we are just counting down the days until we can head to the lake sweater-less, and Beau can catch Frisbees off the dock! In the meantime, Beau and I will take advantage of these less busy days at the beach.
