How to Store Fruit Loop Squares

Store: Keep them in an airtight container at room temperature and eat within 3 days. Although you could refrigerate them for up to 5 days, they do tend to become quite hard in there.
Freeze: I don’t recommend this, as freezing can make them very hard and dense.

Fruit Loop Squares FAQs

Can I use regular size marshmallows instead of mini?

Yes, just chop them up or melt them more thoroughly.

Will this work with other cereals?

Yes, most cereals work well as long as they’re not too dense or flaky.

Do different color Fruit Loops have different flavors?

Fruit Loops, which have been around since the 1960s, use to come in red, orange and yellow only, matching the colors on Toucan Sam’s beak. Despite the rainbow of colors today, they all have the same fruity flavor!
