If you know me at all, you know that I am a quintessential busy bee. I have always got something on the go…whether it is baking, creating something or even just making a list of all the things I want to do. Ha ha.  🙂 You also probably know that I love things that are fun, happy and bright. Well, today I am showing you how to bring your shelf to life by using greeting cards.

For this project I am using greeting cards from the Taylor Swift inspired x Papyrus collection. These cards are all about celebrating who you are and what makes you unique. I fell in love with the cards because they are cute, bright and some are even a wee bit sassy…just like me.  🙂

The rest of the world was black and white but we were in screaming color.

I absolutely love this card, so I put it in a cheap frame that I already had. Isn’t it the cutest!?! ?

Just be yourself, there is no one better.

I often pick up cards for giving to friends and family, but I also keep some to display. They are easy to put on a cork or magnetic board, on a clipboard or in a frame. I have even just displayed some cards as is. When I get given a card I like to put it on display, I recently found some Funny Cards on Banter Cards website and it always makes me laugh when I see it!

The shelves are actually picture rails, so they are nice and narrow and have a lip so the items don’t slide off.  Any frame will do, it doesn’t need to be expensive.

TIP: A cheap and easy way to add photos to your shelf is to have them mounted on foam core after you print them. It is cheap (like a dollar) and it makes them perfect for a picture rail like this. No frame is needed.  🙂

Express Yourself, Whoever You Are

There are 44 different cards in this Taylor Swift inspired x Papyrus collection, so there is likely something for everyone on your list! The back of each card has a number, so you can collect all 44 of them.  🙂 Papyrus is a greeting card and gift giving accessories brand that is all about fine, handcrafted finishes.

This adorable collection of greeting cards is available exclusively at Target…so stop by and see the display next time you are there.?

Have a fantastic Monday!  I am up super early today to head out to do an outdoor adventure photo shoot. I can’t wait to share the photos.  Follow along on Insta-Story or Snapchat (xoxoBellab).

I love your suggestion of mounting pictures on a foam core. I always have a hard time finding picture frames that would look nice and compliment the others already on my shelf. I guess that problem is solved now! Thanks for the idea. Oh, and BTW, I hope the greeting card tradition does not get lost in this highly techy world. I love giving and receiving cards. They are real keepsakes!

I love this idea. I’m currently redecorating and was looking to add some features to the walls. I love some of the designs at Lemon Loco. Slightly rude but very funny! Especially this one that a friend sent me when I lost my job. It’s so going in a frame on my study wall! :-D. https://lemonloco.com/collections/deadpan-gifts/products/you-were-shit-at-your-job-anyway-greeting-card
