Ingredients

  • ½ Cup blueberries, fresh
  • 1 Cup strawberries, fresh
  • 1 banana, ripe

To Make a Smoothie

  • 1 ½ Cup milk, or juice or water

Instructions 

  • Put freezer pack berries and banana in a Ziploc bag, seal and freeze until ready to use.
  • To make the smoothie, dump contents of the berry freezer pack into your blender.
  • Add smoothie liquid and blend until smooth.

  2. I’m in love with the make ahead smoothie packs idea! I do that with burritos, never thought about fruit. I’m totally going to do that.

      1. Yeah, I just make a bunch of burritos, wrap them in plastic wrap and toss in big storage bags. Then you just microwave for 2.5 minutes and voila! Homemade frozen burritos, without the indigestion. Hahaha! It’s WAY cheaper than storebought, and you can make a ton of whatever you love. I don’t eat cheese, so I make my own. I’ve done shredded meats, beans, chiles, rice, etc. I have been meaning to try eggs, potatoes, and veggies for breakfast options. 🙂
