Ingredients

  • 1 mango fresh
  • 1 bell pepper green
  • 1/2 red onion small
  • 1 red pepper medium hot
  • 2 Tablespoons cilantro fresh and chopped
  • 1 juiced lime
  • 1 Teaspoon honey
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Peel and clean the onion, mango, bell peppers and cut into small cubes.
  • De-seed the red peppers and cut into small rings.
  • Mix together with the cilantro, lime juice and honey and add salt and pepper to taste if needed.
  • Let the mango salsa rest for a couple of minutes so the flavors come together and meld nicely.

Notes

Note 1: You can use any color. But the green ones are a bit less sweet and add a nice contrast to the sweetness of the mango.
If you don´t feel like chopping everything into small cubes you can let your food processor help. It will be less chunky and more like a chutney but still very tasty. Just clean everything, roughly chop it and shred a couple of time on pulse.
