Gluten Free Sweet and Sour Sauce

I love egg rolls and egg roll sauce. But I want a healthy sweet and sour sauce. I’ve been experimenting with a really tasty sugar-free sweet and sour sauce. And I’m convinced you’ll love this homemade sauce recipe!

Servings: 8 oz


  • 1 Tablespoon ketchup
  • 1 Teaspoon coconut aminos
  • 1 1/2 Tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 4 Tablespoon agave, liquid sweetener 
  • 1 Teaspoon orange juice
  • 1/3 Cup water
  • 2 Teaspoon cornstarch


  • Use a ramekin to dissolve the cornstarch in ⅓ cup of  water. Pour mixture into a small mixing bowl and combine ketchup, coconut aminos, rice vinegar, agave, and orange juice.
  • Add the contents of the bowl to a sauce pan and cook over high heat until it starts to boil. Lower heat to a simmer for 5 minutes to thicken. 
  • Store in the fridge in a sealed container for up to 2 weeks
