Use thick pork chops: The pork should be an inch thick. Slightly over is also fine. But if it's too thin it will cook too quickly and not come out as tender or juicy.
Sesame seeds: I like to toast the sesame seeds first. To do this add them to a hot ungreased skillet and brown them, stirring often, until they're golden and fragrant.
Don't skip the sear: You sear pork chops before adding them to the slow cooker as it caramelizes the exterior, adding a flavorful brown crust that you can’t get from slow cooking. The result is the most tender pork chops which a great color.
