Grilled Gorgonzola Buffalo Burgers in a Pretzel Bun

- 2 Pounds ground buffalo or bison
- red onion diced
- 6 Ounces gorgonzola cheese Shredded
- 1/2 Cup bread crumbs
- 1 egg
- 1/2 Teaspoon black pepper coarse
- 1 Teaspoon salt coarse
- 1/4 Teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1 Teaspoon dried garlic granulated
- 1 Teaspoon dill weed
- 1 Tablespoon mustard stone ground
For serving
- 8 hamburger buns pretzel
- Butter lettuce
Preheat the grill or smoker to 400 degrees F for 15 minutes.
Combine all burger ingredients in a large mixing bowl and mix thoroughly.
Scoop out ¼ cup of meat mixture and form burger patties.
Place patties directly onto the grill grates and cook for five minutes per side.
During the final two minutes of cooking time place pretzel buns cut side down onto the grill grates to lightly toast
Prepare burgers. Add desired toppings and serve.
