White Claw Slushie

Frozen watermelon and strawberries, rum and hard seltzer make this White Claw slushie an icy, refreshing summer drink that's fruity, fizzy and easy to blend.

Ingredients

  • Cups strawberries frozen, about 6 Ounces
  • Cups watermelon frozen, about 6 Ounces
  • 1 Can White Claw watermelon, 12 Ounces
  • 3 Ounces agave nectar
  • 3 Ounces rum watermelon-flavor, such as Malibu Watermelon

Optional Garnishes

  • watermelon wedges
  • strawberries
  • mint springs

Instructions

  • Pour the entire can of White Claw into an ice cube tray. Freeze for 4 hours or until completely frozen.
  • To the pitcher of a blender, add frozen strawberries, frozen watermelon, White Claw ice cubes, agave nectar, and rum. Blend until smooth, scraping down the blender sides with a tamper or spatula when needed.
  • Divide slushie between 2 glasses. Garnish with a watermelon wedge, strawberry, and/or mint sprig, if liked.

Notes

Freeze the seltzer flat: Freeze in a thin layer if you're in a rush, to speed up the process.
Use fully frozen fruit: This keeps the texture thick and icy. Frozen strawberries are readily available in grocery stores, but frozen watermelon chunks can be more difficult to come by. To freeze your own, line up the fruit on a foil-lined baking sheet so that the pieces aren't touching, then freeze overnight.
Taste before serving: Adjust sweetness or add more rum if desired.
