Beef Yaki Udon Noodle Stir Fry

Beef yaki udon is a tasty noodle stir fry which you can make in less than 30 minutes. Try this easy udon recipe if you're looking for a simple Japanese dish to make with beef and noodles. You can make the entire thing in one wok for an easy dinner.

Ingredients

  • 14 Ounces Udon noodles
  • 2 sirloin steak
  • 8 Ounces baby bok choy sliced
  • ½ Cup shiitake Mushrooms sliced
  • 2 carrots sliced
  • 5 scallions cut into 2” strips
  • 1 Teaspoon baking soda

Sauce

Instructions

  • Make the sauce. Combine all ingredients in a bowl and whisk well.
  • Thinly slice the steak. Add to a bowl and toss with salt, pepper, baking soda, and 1 Tablespoon of the sauce.
  • Blanch the noodles. Add udon to hot water for 2 minutes. Drain and rinse. Set aside.
  • Heat 1 tbsp vegetable oil in a wok. Add the veggies and stir fry for 5 minutes. Push to the sides of the wok and add the steak. Stir fry for 2 minutes.
  • Add the udon and sauce to the wok and toss to coat. Cook for 5 minutes.
  • Garnish with red pickled ginger (optional).
