Cherry Lime Caipirinha - Summer Cocktail

Combine the sweetness of cherries with the zesty tang of lime in a cherry lime caipirinha. This is the best summer cocktail recipe! As well as cherries and lime, you need cherry syrup and cachaça or dark rum. This Brazilian cocktail with cherries is great for summer evenings.

Ingredients

  • 10 Tablespoon cherries
  • 1.5 Tablespoons limes
  • 2 Tablespoons cherry syrup
  • 3 Ounces dark rum or Cachaça
  • club soda
  • ice

Instructions

  • Slice the cherries and pluck out the pits.
  • Cut the limes into quarters.
  • Add the cherries into each glass and muddle.
  • Add the lime quarters and muddle.
  • Add 1 tablespoon of cherry syrup to each glass.
  • Add 1.5 ounces of Cachaça or dark rum to each glass.
  • Fill the glasses half-full with crushed ice.
  • Top with club soda. Give it a stir.
