Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Place bacon onto a baking sheet in a single layer.
Bake the bacon at 350 for approx 15 minutes or until almost cooked, but not yet crispy.
Take bacon out of the oven and set aside.
While the bacon is cooking, season a large pot of water generously with salt and bring the water to a boil.
When the water comes to a boil, add in the green beans. Cook the beans for approx 5 minutes until they are almost tender.
Remove the green beans from the boiling water and immediately put them into a bowl of ice water to stop the cooking process.
In a small bowl melt together the butter, maple syrup, salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, rosemary, and red pepper flakes.
Gently dry the green beans off with a paper towel, or lint free clean kitchen towel.
Pour the melted butter mixture over the green beans and toss to coat.
Squeeze the ½ lemon over the top of the green beans and toss to coat.
Increase the oven heat to 450 degrees F.
Take a small bundle of green beans, maybe 8 to 10 at a time and wrap the center of the bundle with a strip of the bacon. You can secure the end with a toothpick.
Place the bundle onto a baking sheet.
Once you have wrapped all of the green beans, drizzle any leftover butter mixture from the green bean bowl over the top of the bundles.
Bake the green beans for approx 15 minutes or until the bacon and green beans have a nice roasted color.
