Vegan pesto is that sauce that is a wonderful alternative to a heavy, red sauce. You can add this quick and easy vegan pesto sauce to any pizza, pasta, or even just use it as a dipping sauce with some pita chips!

  • 2 Cups basil leaves fresh, packed
  • 1 Cup spinach leaves fresh, packed
  • 3 Tbsp pine nuts
  • 3 Tbsp walnuts
  • 3 Cloves garlic
  • 2 Tbsp lemon juice
  • 4 Tbsp nutritional yeast
  • 3 Tbsp olive oil
  • 4 Tbsp water


  • Add of the ingredients into a food processor or small blender.
  • Blend until smooth.
  • If not getting smooth, add a few tablespoons more water.
  • Store in fridge, freeze in cubes or add on top of your favorite pasta.
