Fresh Greens One Pot Pasta
This one pot pasta cooks in ten minutes, without having to boil or drain water.I know it sounds crazy, but it really works.
- 1 Cup cherry tomatoes cut in half
- 1 Cup green beans cut into 1 inch pieces
- 1/4 Cup walnut pieces
- 3 Cloves garlic finely chopped
- 1 Tbsp olive oil
- 1 Cup spinach
- 1/2 Cup kale
- 1 Box Penne Pasta Barilla Pronto
- 1/4 Cup Pesto Sauce
- 1 Tbsp. Parmesan cheese
In a medium sized pan, combine the cherry tomatoes, green beans, walnuts, olive oil and garlic. Cook over medium heat until soft.
Remove from pan and set aside.
In same pan, cook Barilla Pronto Penne Pasta as per instructions.
When pasta is cooked add Barilla Pesto Sauce, spinach and kale. Cook over medium heat until greens wilt.
Place cooked pasta on a plate for serving and top with cooked tomato and bean mixture.
Add Parmesan cheese to taste.
