This one pot pasta cooks in ten minutes, without having to boil or drain water.I know it sounds crazy, but it really works.

Ingredients

  • 1 Cup cherry tomatoes cut in half
  • 1 Cup green beans cut into 1 inch pieces
  • 1/4 Cup walnut pieces
  • 3 Cloves garlic finely chopped
  • 1 Tbsp olive oil
  • 1 Cup spinach
  • 1/2 Cup kale
  • 1 Box Penne Pasta Barilla Pronto
  • 1/4 Cup Pesto Sauce
  • 1 Tbsp. Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  • In a medium sized pan, combine the cherry tomatoes, green beans, walnuts, olive oil and garlic. Cook over medium heat until soft.
  • Remove from pan and set aside.
  • In same pan, cook Barilla Pronto Penne Pasta as per instructions.
  • When pasta is cooked add Barilla Pesto Sauce, spinach and kale. Cook over medium heat until greens wilt.
  • Place cooked pasta on a plate for serving and top with cooked tomato and bean mixture.
  • Add Parmesan cheese to taste.
