Pineapple Agua Fresca

This tropical drink is fresh, fruity and easy to make in minutes. It’s a great way to stay hydrated while enjoying the natural sweetness of pineapple with a splash of lime.

Ingredients

  • 5 Cups fresh pineapple diced
  • 5 ½ Cups water
  • 1 lime juiced
  • ¼ Cup honey
  • ice optional, to serve

Optional Garnishes

  • fresh mint
  • fresh basil
  • lime slices
  • pineapple wedges

Instructions

  • Place all the ingredients into the glass of a blender and pulse until everything is well processed and smooth.  
  • Using a sieve, strain out the pulp of the pineapple leaving only the juice into a pitcher.  
  • Refrigerate until you are ready to serve, then add ice if liked and/or your preferred garnishes and enjoy.

Notes

Use ripe pineapple: A sweet, golden pineapple gives the best flavor.
Strain well: Straining the pulp ensures a smooth and clean drink.
Chill before serving: Cold agua fresca is more refreshing.
Adjust sweetness: Taste and add more honey or lime as needed.
Strain the pulp:
Straining the pulp out results is a smoother agua fresca, you can either use a sieve or the lid of your blender.
