I am a storyteller, food lover, mom, dog mom, and adventure seeker living on the Pacific Coast.
I am a freelance food, travel, and lifestyle writer.

hi! I am Bella Bucchiotti and this is my blog xoxoBella. I live in a small but very beautiful town on an island – I am glad you are here! Through my platforms, I share my passion for food, dogs, fitness, adventures, travel, and philanthropy to encourage my followers to run the extra mile, try new recipes, visit unfamiliar places, and stand for a cause.

I started xoxoBella in 2015 while I was still in high school as a food blog to share my favorite recipes with friends and family. As someone with learning disabilities (auditory process and dyslexia), school was challenging, so I used to blog to share what I was good at – COOKING and taking photos! I continue to post new recipes every week, so check back often.

One of the things I love about cooking is that it’s a never-ending journey of discovery. Whenever I travel, I make it a point to take cooking classes to learn new ways of cooking and baking. Over the last eight years, I’ve taken cooking classes all around the world, from Italy to Thailand and everywhere in between.

My blog is not just about sharing recipes, but also about inspiring others to pursue their passion for cooking. I believe that anyone can cook, regardless of their skill level or background. That’s why I strive to create recipes that are easy to follow and accessible to everyone.

In a world where we’re all so busy, food is a way to slow down and connect with others. I hope that my blog inspires you to try new recipes, explore new cuisines, and most importantly, enjoy the simple pleasure of cooking and sharing a meal with your loved ones.

Over the years, xoxoBella has also grown to include travel and various lifestyle content. As a freelance writer, I love sharing my passions and stories. I am a freelance writer on MSN and the Associated Press Wire.

When I was 19, I was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes, and shortly after, I was diagnosed as a celiac. Living with two autoimmune diseases has its challenges, but I don’t keep it from living my life to the fullest. I take every opportunity to share my experiences with T1D and educate others.

You can contact me anytime at [email protected]. Business Inquiries: I would love to work with you!

Type 1 Diabetes

I was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes at the age of 19. Educating and advocating for T1D is something near to my heart. The Type 1 community is amazing! Check out my Type 1 diabetes blog posts.

Celiac Disease

Shortly after being diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes, I was also diagnosed as having celiac disease. Sharing food ideas and travel tips for fellow celiacs is something that I enjoy. Check out all of my gluten free recipes.

Jack arrived earlier than expected in May 2024. We are loving every minute with him and couldn’t be happier.

My Dogs – Beau and Daisy … Plus Hank

Beau is my cute Brittany Spaniel and a total puppy poser. Daisy, a golden retriever, is the new addition to our family. Hank (the big labrador retriever) is my brother’s dog and joins us on adventures. You can follow along on their Instagram HERE.

I appreciate you for making xoxoBella possible!
