Ingredients

Instructions

  • Microwave the chocolate chips in a small bowl for 2 to 3 minutes, stirring every 30 seconds. If chilled, they’ll take longer to melt.
  • Put the sprinkles in a small bowl.
  • Dip the tip of a donut hole into the melted chocolate, scraping it lightly on the side of the bowl so any excess can drip off.
  • Now dip it into the bowl of chocolate jimmy sprinkles.
  • Stick a pretzel stick into the chocolate and sprinkles end, taking care not to scrape any off.
  • Place on a parchment paper lined baking sheet to dry, and repeat with the remaining donut holes, melted chocolate, sprinkles, and pretzel sticks.
  • You can serve them immediately while the chocolate is still gooey or chill for 5 minutes in the fridge or freezer for the chocolate to set.

Notes

Keep tools dry: Any water can seize the chocolate.
Work in batches: Dip a few, add stems and then repeat so nothing sets too soon.
Scrape lightly:
Skim the bowl edge to avoid thick drips before rolling in jimmies.
Use firm donut holes: A sturdy base holds the stem of this fun treat better.
