Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F.

Cook the Bacon:

  • Arrange the bacon in one layer on a foil-lined baking sheet and bake for 15 to 20 minutes or until crispy and cooked.
  • Chop the bacon and set aside.

Make the Beef Filling Mixture:

  • In a large sauté pan, add the beef, Worcestershire sauce, onion powder, garlic powder, smoked paprika, ground mustard, salt and black pepper.
  • Cook, stirring often, until the meat is no longer pink.
  • Put the bottom of the slider rolls in a baking dish and add a slice of cheddar cheese to each.
  • Spoon the beef mixture over the cheese.

Make the Cheeseburger Sauce:

  • Combine all the sauce ingredients together and stir well.
  • Spoon half the sauce over the beef mixture, keeping the rest for dipping.

Assemble the Sliders:

  • Add the colby jack cheese slices over the meat.
  • Top with pickles and the bacon, and then put the tops of the rolls over the sliders.
  • Brush the tops with melted butter and sprinkle with everything bagel seasoning.
  • Bake for 20 minutes or until the cheese has melted and the rolls are golden brown.
  • Serve immediately with the reserved cheeseburger sauce for dipping.

Notes

Plan ahead: Cook the bacon ahead if you want. Just keep it refrigerated until you're ready to make the sliders.
Use the right buns: Use Hawaiian rolls or slider rolls. If you only have larger buns, you can use a cookie cutter to make them slider size.
Don't let them burn: If the sliders are browning too fast on top, cover them with foil and continue baking until the cheese has melted.
