Ingredients

  • 18 to 24 tater tots frozen
  • 8 Slices bacon
  • 2 Teaspoons Cajun seasoning optional

  • Preheat the oven to 425°F.
  • Slice each bacon strip into thirds using a sharp knife.
  • Completely wrap each tater tot with a piece of bacon.
  • Arrange the bacon-wrapped tater tots on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or greased with nonstick cooking spray.
  • Sprinkle with half the Cajun seasoning, then flip and season the other side with the rest.
  • Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until they’re golden brown and the bacon is crispy.
  • Serve immediately with ranch dressing for dipping.

Notes

Watch the salt: If you're using very salty bacon, you might want to omit the Cajun seasoning or use something salt-free.
Seam side down: Add the bacon wrapped tater tots to the baking sheet seam side down so they don't unravel.
Prepare the baking sheet: You can either grease it with nonstick spray or line it with parchment paper.
Cook until crispy: These are done when the bacon is crispy and the tater tots are piping hot in the center.
Drain excess bacon grease: After baking, transfer the tater tots to a paper towel-lined plate or wire rack to absorb excess grease before serving.
