  • To the container of a blender (or an immersion blender), add vanilla ice cream, butterscotch sauce and bananas.
  • Blend until mixture is smooth. Add black spiced rum and blend, once again, until combined.
  • Pour over ice into a 10 ounce glass.
  • Sprinkle with ground cinnamon and garnish with a cinnamon stick. 

Notes

Use ripe bananas: The riper the bananas, the sweeter and richer the flavor.
Chill the glasses: Cold glasses keep the drink frosty longer.
Adjust rum: Add more or less depending on how strong you like it.
Blend thoroughly: A smooth texture makes the cocktail more enjoyable.
