Ingredients

  • 6 waffle bowls
  • 1 Box brownie mix
  • 2 eggs
  • ½ Cup oil
  • 3 Tablespoons water
  • 1 Scoop vanilla ice cream

Optional Toppings

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together boxed brownie mix, eggs, oil and water until fully combined. Place all 6 six waffle bowls on a baking sheet.
  • Cut 6 pieces of foil about 15 inches long (it’s best to pull out 2 sheets, stack them and cut 3 equal strips from each piece) then wrap the rim of each bowl tightly.
  • Divide the batter evenly between the waffle bowls, filling no more than half-full.
  • Bake for 25 minutes.
  • Once they are done baking, carefully move them to a cooling rack for about 5 minutes before removing the foil.
  • Add your favorite toppings and serve.

Notes

Don’t overfill the bowls: Keep batter to halfway full so it doesn’t overflow.
Watch the edges: Foil helps protect the rim of the waffle bowls from burning.
Serve warm: Slightly warm brownie bowls create the best contrast with cold ice cream.
