Ingredients

Instructions

  • Prepare a campfire.
  • Crush the graham crackers. It's easiest to do this if you leave them in the sleeve and squeeze with your hands. Try not to puncture the sleeve.
  • Pour the graham cracker crumbs onto a plate.
  • Pour the almond slivers onto another plate.
  • Skewer a strawberry through its hull and dip it in marshmallow creme.
  • Cook it over the fire until the marshmallow creme is golden brown.
  • Now roll the strawberry in the cookie crumbs and then in the almonds.
  • Repeat with the rest of the strawberries and coatings.
  • These are best served immediately.

Notes

Crushing the crackers: Squeeze the graham crackers through the sleeve carefully to crush them. Be gentle so you don't puncture the sleeve.
Use metal skewers: Wooden ones have the potential to ignite over the campfire, although sticks are fun too!
Dry your strawberries: It's important to make sure the strawberries are dry, otherwise the coatings won't stick to them.
