Drumstick Pie

Indulge in a simple and delicious drumstick pie recipe that's perfect for any ice cream lover. This tasty no-bake treat is easy to whip up at home.

Ingredients

Optional Toppings:

  • ¼ Cup peanuts chopped
  • ¼ Cup sugar cone pieces

Instructions

  • Cut the butter into small cubes and microwave it until completely melted.
  • Stir together the melted butter, crushed graham crackers and crushed sugar cones.
  • Press the crust mixture into a 10-inch springform pan and set aside.
  • Smooth the ice cream over the top of the graham cracker crust and then let it chill in the freezer while you prepare the chocolate ganache.
  • Microwave the cream for 45 seconds or until hot.
  • Pour it over the chocolate chips.
  • Stir the chocolate and cream together until the chocolate is completely melted.
  • Pour the chocolate ganache over the top of the pie.
  • Top your pie with the crushed cone pieces and chopped peanuts.
  • Cover with plastic wrap and chill for 3 hours before slicing and serving.

Notes

Fine crumbs: Make sure there are no large pieces of sugar cone or graham cracker in your crust. The finer it's crushed the sturdier your crust will be.
Freezer time: You'll have to make this drumstick ice cream pie in advance since it has a few hours of freezing time. It's important to let it freeze for at least 3 hours so it can set properly.
Softer serve: You can let this pie sit out for a few minutes before serving it if you want your ice cream to be a little softer, although it's easiest to slice straight from the freezer. When frozen you can get crisp, clean cuts.
