Halloween Pretzel Snacks

The magical combination of salty and sweet makes these Halloween pretzels really special. It's impossible to only eat one of these.

  • Preheat the oven to 250 degrees F and line a pair of baking sheets with parchment paper.
  • Put 18 pretzels on a prepared tray.
  • Add a Rolo to each pretzel.
  • Bake for 2 or 3 minutes, enough to soften the Rolos but not completely melt them.
  • Take them out of the oven and immediately press a candy eye or M&M on top.
  • Now do the same with the other baking sheet and repeat the process.
  • Let the Rolo pretzels set completely before serving, 20 to 30 minutes at room temperature or 10 to 15 minutes in the fridge.

Notes

Watch the baking time: You only need to soften the Rolos, not melt them, so keep an eye on them in the oven. They only take a couple of minutes.
Make extra: With a recipe this easy, you might want to double or triple the recipe.
Work in batches: I make 18 at a time, using a pair of baking sheets, so I can assemble the Halloween pretzels before the chocolate sets. You can work on one batch while another bakes.
