Hawaiian Lava Flow Cocktail

Creamy coconut meets vibrant strawberry in a showstopping drink that resembles island magma sinking through snow. Each sip balances smooth tropical sweetness with a subtle rum kick.

Ingredients

For the Strawberry Layer

  • 1 ½ Ounces rum white
  • ½ Cup strawberries frozen

For the Coconut and Pineapple Layer

Optional Garnishes

  • pineapple wedge fresh
  • cocktail umbrella or other decorations

Instructions

  • Combine frozen strawberries and white rum in a high speed blender. Blend until you reach a smooth consistency
  • Pour the strawberry puree into a hurricane glass or preferred serving glass.
  • Rinse out the blender.
  • Add crushed ice, pineapple juice and cream of coconut to the blender. Blend until it's a slushy consistency, adding more ice if necessary.
  • Carefully top the strawberry puree with the coconut/pineapple mixture.
  • Use a straw to swirl and create your custom lava flow design!
  • Garnish with a pineapple wedge and/or paper cocktail umbrella if liked.

Notes

Chill the glass: Keep everything frosty and slow melting.
Use ripe fruit: Sweet, fragrant produce boosts flavor.
Adjust ice: Modify crushed ice to reach your preferred thickness.
Swirl gently: Over mixing muddles the vivid lava streaks.
