This lemon aioli is a mayonnaise-based sauce flavored with lemon, garlic and fresh herbs, mixed into a smooth and tangy condiment.

Ingredients

  • 1 Cup mayonnaise
  • 1 Clove garlic large, finely grated or finely minced
  • ½ Tablespoon fresh parsley finely chopped
  • ½ Tablespoon fresh dill weed finely chopped
  • ½ Teaspoon honey mustard dressing
  • 1 lemon juiced, plus 1 Teaspoon lemon zest
  • Teaspoon salt or to taste

Instructions

  • Add all the ingredients to a small bowl.
  • Whisk to combine until smooth.
  • Taste the lemon aioli and adjust the seasonings if needed, such as more lemon zest for more lemon flavor, a little more honey mustard dressing for more sweetness and/or more salt if it needs that.

Notes

Garlic texture: Finely grate garlic to avoid harsh bites.
Flavor rest: Chill briefly to allow the lemon and herbs to blend.
Thickness control: Add a small amount of lemon juice to loosen if needed.
