Ingredients

Instructions

  • In a medium bowl add flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt. Set aside.
  • Grease or place parchment paper on 2 baking sheets.
  • With an electric mixer, beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs and beat well.
  • Gradually add dry ingredients to the creamed mixture. Refrigerate for 1 to 2 hours.
  • Preheat oven to 350°F.
  • Scoop batter by tablespoons onto baking sheet. Add a Mars bite and place another scoop of batter on top. Close up into a ball.
  • Bake for 12 to 14 minutes.
  • Allow to cool 5 minutes before moving to cooling rack.

Notes

Chill the dough: This helps prevent spreading and makes the cookies thicker.
Don't overfill: You don't want the filling to leak out.
Seal the edges: Make sure no candy is exposed before baking.
Let them cool: The Mars center will be hot and molten straight from the oven.
