  • 2 Cups water
  • 2 Cups lemonade
  • 2 Bags mint tea Teavana Jade Citrus, if you can find it
  • 2 Bags peach tea Teavana Tranquility, if you can find it
  • 1 Tablespoon honey plus more to serve
  • lemon slices to serve

Instructions

  • Add water and lemonade to a small saucepan and bring to a slow simmer.
  • Remove from heat and add 2 mint tea bags and 2 peach-flavored tea bags.
  • Cover and steep for 3 to 4 minutes.
  • Discard the tea bags, add honey and stir until dissolved.
  • Divide tea between 2 mugs and serve immediately with a thin slice of lemon and more honey if liked.

Notes

Simmer don't boil: The water and lemonade shouldn't be boiling. A slow simmer is perfect.
Don't over-steep: Longer steeping can cause bitterness.
Adjust sweetness: Add more or less honey to suit your taste. Not a honey fan? Use sugar, maple syrup or your sweetener of choice instead.
Serve fresh: This drink is best enjoyed warm, right after it’s made.
