Ingredients

  • 1 peach ripe, medium-sized, skin discarded
  • ½ lemon
  • 2 Cups black tea or green tea if preferred
  • 2 Tablespoons simple syrup
  • 1 Cup ice

Instructions

  • Squeeze ½ a lemon and set the juice aside.
  • Cut the peach into pieces. Put the pieces into the blender.
  • Add the lemon juice, tea and simple syrup. Add more if you prefer a sweeter taste. Blend all ingredients together.
  • Strain into a jug with plenty of ice cubes or crushed ice.

Notes

Use ripe peaches: They blend more easily and give better sweetness.
Strain well: Use a fine mesh strainer to remove pulp and skins.
Chill your tea: Let tea cool fully before blending for best results.
Taste as you go: Adjust syrup or lemon juice to your sweetness preference.
