Ingredients

Instructions

  • Beat the cream cheese and ¾ cup of the sweetened condensed milk until smooth.
  • Whisk in the pudding mix and cold milk until thickened.
  • Arrange a layer of banana slices over the bottom of the crust.
  • Spread half of the pudding mixture over the bananas.
  • Add another layer of bananas and the remaining pudding mixture.
  • Combine cold heavy cream with the remaining sweetened condensed milk.
  • Whip until the mixture reaches medium peaks.
  • Top with whipped cream and chill for at least 4 hours before serving.
  • Once ready to serve, scatter crushed vanilla wafers and additional banana slices over the top with a drizzle of caramel sauce, if desired.

Notes

Choose firm bananas: Avoid overly ripe ones that can turn mushy in the pie.
Soften the cream cheese: Room temperature cream cheese blends smoother and prevents lumps.
Keep ingredients cold: Cold cream and tools make whipped cream whip faster and hold shape.
Allow full chill time: Give it at least 4 hours to set before slicing.
Add toppings last: Keeps bananas fresh and cookies crisp until serving time.
