Ingredients

  • 1 ½ Ounces vodka
  • 1 Ounces lime juice fresh is best
  • 8 Ounces ginger beer
  • 8 Leaves mint fresh
  • 6 blackberries  fresh
  • 1 Wedge lime optional

Instructions

  • Add lime juice, mint leaves, and blackberries into a Moscow Mule mug. 
  • Muddle or macerate the ingredients until their properties are extracted.
  • Add regular ice cubes and top with crushed ice. 
  • Add the vodka and then the ginger beer.
  • Stir the ingredients and serve garnished with mint leaves and blackberries (and also a lime wedge if liked).

Notes

Use ripe fruit: Fully ripe berries give the best flavor and sweetness.
Chill ingredients: Use cold ginger beer and vodka for maximum refreshment.
Gentle muddling: Avoid crushing mint too aggressively to prevent bitterness.
