Ingredients

Instructions

  • Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Combine the cereals, peanuts and mini pretzels in a mixing bowl.
  • Melt the wafers in another bowl in the microwave with the defrost or low setting, stirring every 30 seconds, until smooth and melted.
  • Pour the melted wafers into the bowl with the nuts, pretzels and cereal and mix until coated.
  • Fold in the M&Ms and then transfer the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet.
  • Spread into an even layer and add the sprinkles on top, if using.
  • Let it set at room temperature for 20 to 30 minutes or in the fridge for 10 minutes.
  • Break the bunny bait into chunks to serve.

Notes

Mix the sprinkles and M&Ms last: Mix the nuts, pretzels and cereal together before adding the sprinkles or M&Ms, so the wafers can cool slightly and the color doesn't melt off your M&Ms when adding them.
Give bunny bait as a gift: I like to break this bunny bait Easter snack mix into chunks and put them in little cellophane bags decorated with pastel-colored ribbons - they make a super-cute gift!
Wait for it to set: Although you'll want to dive into this delicious snack mix right away, it takes up to half an hour to set (or you can pop it in the fridge to set faster!)
