Notes

Bite-sized ingredients: If you have dried apple halves, it's best to cut them into smaller pieces so they mix with the trail mix better.
Nice and spicy: Add in some hot pepper flakes, chili flakes, or cayenne pepper if you want a touch of heat to contrast with the rest of the ingredients.
Control the salt levels: You can choose from salted or unsalted seeds, as you prefer. If using unsalted, you might want to add a pinch of salt to the mix.
Store it in individual portions: Use silicone Stasher bags, glass jars or zip-top sandwich bags to make individual servings because it's too easy to over-eat this tasty trail mix!
