This creamy dip is made with sour cream plus rich flavors like beef bouillon, bacon bits and garlic. It's so easy to make and is always a real hit.
Bolder taste: If you want a stronger flavor, add another tablespoon of the dip mix to the cup of sour cream. Adjust as you go to get the desired strength of flavor.
Servings: The servings for the jar depend on how much dip mix is used. The jar will contain 3 to 5 servings of the dip mix for each cup of sour cream.
Stick to dried ingredients: Choose dried bacon bits instead of ones with lots of moisture (to help prolong the shelf life) and use dried garlic and onion not fresh.
Using fresh ingredients: If you want to make your own bacon bits (fry bacon, drain on a paper towel lined plate and crumble) and/or fresh minced garlic, omit the bacon bits and garlic from the jar mix recipe and instead add fresh when you're adding the sour cream.
