Ingredients

Instructions

  • Grease a 9 x 13-inch baking pan with nonstick spray and line the bottom with parchment paper.
  • Melt the butter in a pot over a low heat.
  • Set 1½ cups of marshmallows aside and add the rest of them to the pot with the butter and melt over a low heat, stirring all the time, until you have a smooth consistency.
  • Take the pot off the heat and stir in the salt and vanilla extract.
  • Now you can fold in the Rice Krispies, mini pretzel twists, marshmallows, M&Ms, sprinkles, and candy corn.
  • Spread the mixture into an even layer in the baking dish using a spatula.
  • Next, melt the candy wafers in a disposable piping bag in the microwave on a low or defrost setting until melted completely, massaging the bag every 30 seconds so it warms up evenly.
  • Let it cool for a few minutes before snipping off a little piece of the tip and drizzling it over the treats. Add more toppings such as more M&M’s, candy corn, pretzels, and sprinkles.
  • Let it cool completely on the counter for half an hour to a full hour before cutting it into squares.

Notes

Don't skip the nonstick cooking spray: It helps hold the parchment paper in place when you add the Rice Krispies mixture and also when you're ready to slice.
Press the Rice Krispie mixture in gently: Don't press down too hard because this would make the treats hard.
No piping bag? Use a Ziploc bag instead.
