Ingredients

For the Ranch Dressing:

For the Salad:

  • 1 Cup cucumber diced
  • 1 Cup cherry tomatoes halved
  • 4 eggs hard-boiled and chopped
  • 1 ½ Cups chicken cooked and chopped
  • 4 Strips bacon cooked to crispy and chopped
  • 2 avocados diced
  • 4 Cups romaine lettuce chopped

Instructions

  • Add the buttermilk, mayonnaise, sour cream, ranch seasoning, and black pepper to a small mixing bowl.
  • Whisk until smooth and adjust the salt and pepper to your liking.
  • Line up 4 wide mouth mason jars. Add 3 to 4 tablespoons of dressing to each one.
  • Evenly divide the cucumbers, tomatoes, eggs, chicken, bacon, and avocado between the jars.
  • Top each with romaine lettuce.
  • Cover with lids and store them in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
  • When you’re ready to serve, remove the lid and pour the salad into a bowl.

Notes

Prevent avocado browning: You can toss the diced avocado in lime or lemon juice to prevent browning.
Wide mouth mason jars: It's easier to add ingredients to wide mouth jars.
Shake before serving: Shake the jar lightly before pouring your cobb salad into a bowl to distribute the dressing evenly.
