There are plenty of pancake recipes to choose from but these sweet and fluffy pancake nachos are wonderful for Christmas or Valentine's Day.

Ingredients

  • 40 mini pancakes frozen
  • ¼ Cup Nutella
  • ¼ Cup strawberry topping
  • 5 strawberries fresh, diced
  • icing vanilla
  • sprinkles candy cane

Instructions

  • Start by separating your frozen mini pancakes into 3 separate batches and microwave each batch for about 1 minute or until warm.
  • Fill your plate with pancakes in a circular motion.
  • Drizzle your pancakes with strawberry topping. I warmed mine up for about a minute to make it easier to pour.
  • Top with diced strawberries.
  • Drizzle with Nutella. Again warm it up for about one minute to make it easier to pour.
  • Pipe icing onto the top. Add a whole strawberry in the middle. Pipe icing around the strawberry and on top of it to create a Santa hat.
  • Sprinkle with candy cane sprinkles.
  • Serve pancakes warm.

Notes

No piping bag? You can snip the corner off a Ziploc bag for a makeshift piping bag.
Get creative: Feel free to add any toppings you want - chocolate chips, butterscotch chips, fudge syrup, fresh blackberries - anything goes!
Serve immediately: As soon as you've added your toppings, serve these. If you wait, the cream will start to melt and they won't look as pretty.
