Ingredients 

  • 5 or 6 chicken thighs, bone-in skin-on
  • 1 Teaspoon salt
  • 1 Teaspoon ground paprika
  • ½ Teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 Tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 Tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 5 Ounces pearl onions, peeled
  • 1 carrot, large, chopped
  • 8 Ounces white mushrooms, quartered
  • 5 Cloves garlic, minced
  • ¼ Teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 3 Tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 2/3 Cup dry white wine
  • 1 Cup chicken broth
  • 1 Teaspoon fresh thyme
  • 2 bay leaves
  • ½ Cup heavy cream
