Sometimes, nothing satisfies like sinking your teeth into a juicy burger. We all have our go to favorites. From mountains of melted cheese to crisp salad and the perfect sauce combo (mayo, mustard, ketchup, or go wild!), we’ve got you covered! Life’s too short for sad, limp burgers. Let’s discuss some of the best fast food chains! After all, life is too short to settle for mediocre burgers, isn’t it?

Culver’s came up again and again as Americans online discussed the best burgers. These always-fresh butter burgers have stolen the hearts of everyone who has tasted them. Culver’s may be more expensive than the value menu at McDonald’s, but it’s worth it for these fresh burgers.

Shake Shack

Shake Shack is one of the “higher end” fast food establishments in America, and their burgers follow that trend. Often found in more metropolitan areas, Shake Shacks are a special treat. Plus, you can wash your burger down with one of their incredible milkshakes.

Five Guys

Voted again and again as having the best burgers, Five Guys is an easy favorite. With a simple menu of single or double patty burgers, it’s a no-frills experience. Make sure you don’t have any vegetarians in your party, though, because the burger is the king of the menu here.

In n Out

The burgers at In n Out are a must-buy if you’re in California or Texas where In n Out reigns. The simple menu and affordable prices leave Americans coming back for more every time. Maybe skip the fries though, as they tend to be pretty soggy.

Wendy’s

If you want a smaller, thicker patty on your burger, Wendy’s is a great option. Go for a Dave’s Single or Dave’s Double and finish with some fresh-cut crispy fries. Yum!

Rally’s or Checkers

In some states, it’s Rally’s, and in others, it’s Checkers, but one thing doesn’t change: Americans love these burgers for their flavor and char. For a no-frills experience or a late-night bite, the Rally’s or Checkers experience is the best you can get.

Freddy’s

Freddy’s Steakburgers and Custard has a killer smash burger and amazing sides, per the Americans who vote in the best. Plus, any fast-food location with a signature dessert—like Freddy’s amazing custard—is a must.

Hardee’s or Carls Jr.

Hardee’s slash Carls Jr. is another fast-food chain with two names and the same menu. These charbroiled burgers are a drive-through favorite and Americans love their chicken options, too.

Burger King

Well, it’s right there in the name. For some Americans, the Burger King really is the reigning champion in the fast-food burger space. Plus you can try a trendy new burger from their changing menu or stick with a classic.

Even though Dairy Queen’s name may indicate that the ice cream is the best thing on the menu—and it is good, don’t get us wrong—Americans say their burgers are actually the hidden gems. You can add some heft to your burger meal by making it a basket and adding fries and a delicious Dairy Queen Blizzard.
