A couple of weeks ago Ben and I were out shooting some projects when I got a text asking if we wanted to come out for a heli ride and some ice caving. Of course I said YES! So Ben and I grabbed a quick lunch and then headed to Nicks place for the Compass Heli Tour flight. I didn’t have proper boots and borrowed a jacket. This was definitely a spur of the moment adventure.
Ben and I had such such an amazing time that afternoon and I am so grateful for friends like Nick to invite us along. I love last minute adventures and I am always down for a helicopter ride. The snow was so fresh!
Thanks to Zachary Moxley (who was also on the trip) for the heli photo!
We flew for a bit and then we landed at a ice cave that you can’t get to by foot. It was a beautiful blue sky day with untouched snow and it was so dreamy!
Thank you to my friend Ben Prescott for the wonderful photos!
Thanks to Nick at Compass Helicopter Tours for the adventure. He brought along his dog Champ and he is the most adorable pupper ever!! He was snuggling me the whole ride there and all the way home. Champ loves flying as much as Nick. 🙂
The ice cave was just breath taking and the colours were beautiful. Safely is key in an ice cave, so you must always wear a helmet and never go into one without another person.
Thank you for stopping by. Have a great day!!

Hey great post, what time of year was this?
It was in November. 🙂
This looks like a dream winter wonderland! I love the picture with the icicles!
