Last November I moved into the tiniest condo. It is just over 500 ft2 which is SUPER small but it is in the perfect area for me, in my budget and has lots of windows. Since I work at home, I needed to figure out a way to set up this small place for me to live AND work. I wasn’t even sure if I could fit a couch in this tiny place!! I found out about Modsy and how they can do a 3D design of your room and I was intrigued. All I knew is that I needed help because I had no idea how to fit everything into my space. SOS Modsy…please help!

The great thing about Modsy is that you can “try out” furniture in your space before buying. The renderings that they provide are so realistic and true to scale. Crazy, right!?!! I found this very helpful as I struggled to fit a couch AND a desk into my main living space. Today I am sharing a sneak peek into the design and cannot wait to share more with you over the next month.

I uploaded photos of my condo, answered some questions about styles I like, my budget for furniture and even had an opportunity to link up some items I already had or knew I wanted. Modsy took it from there. The Modsy team created two options of 3D renderings of my condo (to scale) which is so unbelievable when I saw it! They look so realistic…right down to the kitchen cabinets.

Modsy Option #1

Modsy also sent me links to all the products they used in the designs based on the budget I had sent them initially. You can use those items for reference or purchase if you like. I then felt comfortable making purchases knowing that the items would fit in my space and flow nicely.

Here you can see the Lamps Plus table lamp that I ended up picking. I used it in a different layout but I loved the size and the fact that it was orange!!

Now that I have used it, I can’t recommend Modsy enough. It was quick and very user-friendly….and totally helped this non interior design girl out! Their packages starts at $59 and you can use code BELLA20 at check-out to save 20% off that.

I’d love to hear if you have used Modsy or if you have any décor projects you are currently working on.
