On the Road with OtterBox

If you follow me on social media, you will know that I recently went on a road trip through Nevada, California, Utah and Arizona. It was a real whirlwind of a trip with a lot of stops planned along the way. I will be sharing a lot about the trip and the stops we made along the way over the next month.

If you are like me, you are rarely seen without your phone. I use my iPhone to help me find places, as a calculator, a flashlight, banking, taking photos…seriously the list is endless. OtterBox has a new case called the OtterBox uniVERSE Case System. It is a modular case that transforms by attaching different accessories (like a battery, camera lens or tripod)…in addition to providing protection for your phone. Having the uniVERSE Case System on this trip meant I could use my phone for everything I wanted without worrying about breaking it.

Our first stop after landing in Las Vegas was at 7 Magic Mountains. It is such an amazing piece of art in the middle of the desert. All colour lovers need to visit here!

The Valley of Fire is just outside of Las Vegas and it really should be a must-see location for anyone traveling to that area. The landscape is incredible and so different from my home. If you go to Vegas and don’t get here, you are really missing out.

We planned a lot of stops in Utah through Zion National Park. However, bad weather had us skip some locations that would be inaccessible in the rains due to flooding. Next trip I will have to catch those sights!

As I use my iPhone a lot, especially when traveling, the battery tends to drain at the most inopportune times. As well, at home where it is freezing cold this time of year, my battery can go from 70% to 2% in about 30 seconds it seems. The PolarPro Power Pack attachment for the uniVERSE Case System is a lifesaver. You just attach it to the case and continue using your phone as usual with no cords to worry about.

Another great attachment for the OtterBox uniVERSE Case System that I have been using at home a lot in addition to when I was on the road is the PolarPro Pulsar Bluetooth Speaker. It was great to use for listening to music when we were away from the car. I can see this being used a lot at the beach this summer.

The uniVERSE Case System has a variety of modules such as:

  • Traveler package- PolarPro Power Pack battery, Wagner premium wallet, SanDisk iXpand Flash drive (to store photos, movies, etc.)
  • Photographer/videographer package – olloclip 4-in-1 lens; Polar Pro Trippler tripod/grip/extension pole; SanDisk iXpand

There are cases available for the iPhone 6/6s, iPhone 6 Plus/6s Plus, iPhone 7 and the iPhone 7 Plus.

Did I mention we had some unexpected weather on the trip?  We ended up with rain at Horseshoe Bend, but it was still an amazing sight that everyone really needs to see. That same day we made our way to the Grand Canyon and got snow. We definitely were not expecting snow, but it was completely unforgettable.

Thanks to Braedin Toth for all the photos and this fun video showing some snippets of the road trip.

My Trip Vlog

You can watch my Otterbox trip vlog below or on YouTube for better quality.

Another great accessory for the uniVERSE Case System is the pole/grip/tripod. I used it several times on the trip to capture video footage and selfies.  🙂

This amazing waterfall is called Havasu Falls and is located in Arizona. We took a helicopter there as it is accessible by a long hike, donkey or by air. Since we had a tight schedule…air it was. Isn’t the blue-green water beautiful?!?

The OtterBox uniVERSE Case System is available now on otterbox.com. It is the perfect way to #TreatYourSelf or treat your iPhone loving friend.  🙂 Pricing for cases starts at $49.95 and modules start at $19.99.

I can’t wait to share more trip details with you over the next month. I have so many great photos of all the stops along the way. I love spending time outdoors and exploring this beautiful world that we live in. Have a great day!

  49. Bella! I am obsessed with these photos – what a trip of a lifetime! My husband and I have traveled to nearly 40 countries, but I have yet to see some of the greatest views in the States, like NYC, the Grand Canyon, etc. Granted, my husband has already seen most of them, which could explain why it’s less likely that we’ll be visiting any time soon, ha! Anyway, these photos have me dreaming of our babymoon. We have yet to decide where we’re going, but a girl can dream, right?
