With school, work, gym, blogging, volunteering and all the other things I have happening mornings are a challenge! Most of my friends and classmates have the same trouble. These berry smoothie freezer packs are a time saver when you have a full schedule. You could say they make mornings berry easy.
We all know that breakfast is the most important meal of the day, so it is important to make it a good one! This is where eating quick, healthy meals and being organized come in handy. For this reason, make ahead smoothie freezer packs are just what you need to have on hand.
Smoothie Freezer Packs
Make ahead smoothie freezer packs will change your morning routine for the better! It doesn’t get any easier than throwing everything straight from a Ziploc bag to the blender! Absolutely no thawing is needed. All you do is add your liquid (milk, juice or water) when you’re ready to blend.
You might also like to read Sparkling Strawberry Lemonade, or this Tropical Pineapple Mango Smoothie or this Coconut Strawberry Kiwi Smoothie.
You can add protein powder or spinach to the smoothie pack if you like. This is a smoothie that will power you through the morning. 🙂 You can also use this same smoothie pack to create a smoothie bowl to change up your morning routine a bit.
Put together your make ahead smoothie freezer packs before you put your fruit in the fridge after shopping. Wash the fruit, make the packs, freeze and you are set for the week. You can adjust the contents of the freezer pack based on what fruits and berries you can find in season.

Ingredients
Berry Packs:
- 1/2 Cup raspberries fresh
- 1/2 Cup blueberries fresh
- 1 Cup strawberries fresh
- 1 banana
Smoothie:
- 1 1/2 Cup milk or use juice or water
Instructions
- Put freezer pack berries and banana in a Ziploc bag, seal and freeze until ready to use.
- To make the smoothie, dump contents of the berry freezer pack into your blender.
- Add smoothie liquid and blend until smooth.

Another easy thing you can to do to power you through the day is to remember to have your multivitamin. Sounds like a lovely smoothie, I love berries. I would replace the milk with coconut or almond milk, as I can’t eat diary. Also the spinach is a nice healthy touch and you won’t even taste it in the smoothie 🙂

I’m in love with the make ahead smoothie packs idea! I do that with burritos, never thought about fruit. I’m totally going to do that.

Yeah, I just make a bunch of burritos, wrap them in plastic wrap and toss in big storage bags. Then you just microwave for 2.5 minutes and voila! Homemade frozen burritos, without the indigestion. Hahaha! It’s WAY cheaper than storebought, and you can make a ton of whatever you love. I don’t eat cheese, so I make my own. I’ve done shredded meats, beans, chiles, rice, etc. I have been meaning to try eggs, potatoes, and veggies for breakfast options. 🙂
I love how the calorie carbs protein and fats are listed…. oh wait THEY AREN’T. So I am pretty sure it’s not healthy…
