This week and this month are just flying by so fast!! Pretty soon it will be Christmas and my birthday. Not that I’m counting…but there only 73 days until Christmas! For today’s blog post I am sharing a great way to transition your little summer dresses into fall with a denim jacket. My favourite way to do this is to add a denim jacket over it. Pretty simple…but it works for me. 🙂
This dress (which is super affordable) has a fine pattern of brown and orange, making it the perfect candidate for fall. The back is open with small straps, which made it a great summer dress.
I have several denim jackets, and they are pieces that you can wear year after year because they really don’t go out of style. Below, I have linked up a bunch of favourites for you.
Styling a Denim Jacket
I just added these Tory Burch flats to this outfit. They were an investment purchase for me and I adore them. I know I will be able to wear them for a long time because they are a great neutral colour and a classic. Once again, I can say that my Rebecca Minkoff tassel bag was an investment piece for me, but I don’t mind spending a bit more on bags and shoes. Plus…who can resist those tassels!?!
