Substitutions and Variations
Pork chops: You can use bone-in pork chops if you prefer them. It’s so easy to cook pork chops of any kind, and an Instant Pot only makes this easier. Although the pressure cooking an Instant Pot delivers is ideal for lean boneless pork chops that tend to cook fast, you can easily sub bone-in ones and the cooking time shouldn’t be much different, if at all.
Seasonings: You can also adjust the amount of garlic used, adding less or more as you wish, omit the bay leaf, use another kind of oil instead of olive oil, and use any kind of paprika (smoked paprika is especially good here!). This is sure to become one of your favorite Instant Pot pork chop recipes!
