Is there a way to make these cranberry brie bites without using pastry?

If you aren’t keen on crescent rolls, you might prefer to use mushroom caps instead of the dough. Don’t overfill them though, else the cheese will leak over the edges. Using mushroom caps means these are no longer finger food, so should be served on small plates with a little fork.
